How do I find the call number of book?

The call number is found on the book record in OneSearch, and also on the spine label of the actual book. Call numbers are like addresses to finding the location of a book on the shelf. Call numbers are not used for e-books, since access to e-books is through a hyperlink.
The image above shows a search for books from LAPC on vaccines that are available in the library. The call number is the combination of letters and numbers shown after the book location, which is Stacks.
The Stacks are the tall cases located throughout the library, which you can browse on your own. Each row has a sign which tells which call number range can be found on the shelves in that row.
The books are arranged in alphabetical order, according to the call number. So books that have a call number starting with the letter A will be found at the beginning of the Stacks, and books with a call number starting with the letter Z will be at the end of the Stacks.
