How do I find a journal article?
Answer
Academic journal articles (also called scholarly articles and can be peer-reviewed) are located within the library's databases.
Below is a list of the library's databases that contain scholarly articles:

Academic Search Complete, the first on the list, is a good database to begin with.
It's a multi-subject database, meaning there will be articles on a variety of topics, as opposed to some of the other databases listed, which focus on a particular subject.
Once you've logged in to Academic Search Complete, type some keywords that represent your topic into the search box. When your search results appear, you can narrow down to only scholarly journals on the left hand side of the screen.
For more information on scholarly articles and selecting keywords, take a look at the library's Research Concept videos.
