How do I get Microsoft Office for free?

Answer

All students at Los Angeles Pierce College have free access to Microsoft Office products via their @student.laccd.edu email account.

You can access your free Office 365 suite via your email. This includes Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You can either use the online versions of these apps, or you can download the products to your personal computer.

Using Office 365 Online

You can access all Microsoft 365 apps from your school email account in Microsoft Outlook.

  1. Go to the LAPC Website and select Login from the main menu, then select LACCD Email from the dropdown menu. You can also access Microsoft Outlook by loging into the SIS Portal and selecting Mail - Outlook.
Access LACCD email from the login menu

  2. Once you're in Outlook, click on the nine-dot button. This will open up the menu of available apps, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Select the app you wish to use in order to access the online version.
Clicking on the nine-dot button will open up the apps menu
