How do I return a Microsoft Surface Pro laptop?

Laptops must be returned in-person to the Tech Help Desk. Do not place laptops in a book drop.
Before returning your device, please complete the following steps:
- Close all open windows and applications.
- Delete your files:
- Open File Explorer (folder icon in the taskbar).
- Check each of these folders: Desktop, Downloads, Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos.
- If you see any of your files, right-click each item, select "Show more options," then click "Delete."
- Close the window when finished.
- Empty your Recycle Bin (delete all items).
When returning your device to the Computer Lab:
- Be signed in and ready to show a staff member that all of your files have been removed.
- After verification that your files have been deleted, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and sign out.
- Power off the device before handing it in.
